Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chaple
“Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chaple, has been in our family for years. The staff is very careing and understanding. Christina Quintain was very helpful in handling my Mother’s funeral. He kept in touch on everything even to the smallest things. I felt very comfortable with him in charge, my Mother’s funeral was very beautiful Thanks to him.” -

Stauffer Funeral Homes PA
The truth behind Stauffer Funeral home
“Stauffer Funeral home has a wonderful staff working for them, unfortunately the owners son and daughter in law are taking over the business. Not only do these two run the business with entitlement and bully and harrass their staff causing them to lose 6 extraordinary employees so far, but they also are driven by money and status. They turn their head and stick their noses in the air if a family is in need and cannot fully afford the cost of a funeral or cremation, however, if there is a family who has a loss and they think this is an important family in the community they will bend over backwards. Giving away merchandise, even paying for banners and offering discounts. Usually those are the families that have no trouble paying the full funeral bill too. They even bump families from their chosen visitation and funeral service dates to accommodate these more important families. They mock less fortunate people and make fun of them. They look at people and think by their appearance that they wont be able to afford the funeral costs. The daughter in law pretends to care about certain organizations in which she donates the funeral homes money too but her hidden agenda is to simply get her name out so that she can feel like she's famous in the state of MD. There's also a grief dog that is advertised everywhere as being right inside the front door Instead you will find an empty dog bed with the dogs picture above it, unless of course once again you are attending the funeral of an important family. The dog can't stay in the front BC the they spend thousands of dollars for training that they don't agree with so they take the dog and do their own idea of training leaving the dog terribly confused. The dog has a shock collar which is only supposed to stimulate the muscles to get the dogs attention, but the collar is turned up so high that the dog yelps whenever they push the button to activate the color. So the sad part is, if you choose this funeral home you will be well taken care of by the excellent and sincere staff, but you will also be giving your money to horrible people who care for no one but themselves. ” -

Bill Deberry Funeral Directors
unprofessional, offensive, scary, insensitive clods
“If there were a no-star rating, that is what they would get. I assisted the family of a dear friend in their time of need. The afternoon before the evening visitation we went to DeBerry's place to set up. We unplugged the electric and audio cables of the microphone to move the podium and the owners went ballistic, three times. First was the son, Andrew, during the visitation. When I offered to put it back he said, There's no sense now, but that was not the end of it. Then was his father, Bill, who stomped in at 8PM just as we were leaving the visitation. When I arrived to the funeral the following morning the white haired-man who sits behind the desk jumped up, ran to me, and proceeded to point his pen very close to my face and scream at me. When I backed away he drew closer. It was a scary situation. There were several witnesses to all their ballistic behavior. It seems they are morons who can't plug-in an electric cord and audio cable, even after I explained there were engineers and two audio-visual people in the group of visitors. I even promised to hire an electrician to fix it if it didn't work when we plugged the mic back in. It took us two minutes to put the podium back and plug the mic back in, which turned on and worked. I was later told the DeBerry mother is very ill and I will say a prayer for her, but that does not excuse their unprofessional, offensive, scary behavior. These guys are complete and utter insensitive clods. Avoid like the plague.” -

Cusimano and Russo Funeral Home
Highly Recommended
“When our baby daughter passed away, we were distraught and called many funeral homes but when I called Cusimano & Russo Funeral and spoke to Michael Rizzotto, he had a very comforting voice and helped us in our time of need. He helped arrange everything and we cannot thank him enough for his compassion to get us through this most difficult time. I would recommend everyone to call Michael if you need any help planning the funeral of a loved one.”
