As a natural alternative to traditional cremation, Charlotte Aquamation is the first provider to offer Aquamation services, also known as water cremation/alkaline hydrolysis, to Mecklenburg and surrounding counties. We are owned by Robertson Funeral & Cremation Service, a family-owned, private funeral and cremation establishment, founded in 2007. Following our founding of Kings Mountain Preserve in 2020, Charlotte area’s only conservation green cemetery, our firm continues to lead the funeral industry with the most comprehensive, environmentally sustainable services in the region.
